Why People Stop Their New Years Resolution

  • Update: 27/01/2023

Did you know that around 95% of people who start a new year’s resolution, feel unmotivated to carry on by just the 14th January?

There can be many reasons for this;

The goal may have been unrealistic or to big at the start

Your friends may have stopped already

You may have no one to train with or hold you accountable

You may not be seeing the results you want right away

These reasons and many more, are why people’s motivation tends to slip and they fall back into old habits by the time it’s the middle of January.

Here are some tips to help keep you motivated and on track to not only beat, but surpass your health and fitness goals in 2023.

Set Simple, achievable goals

Many people become unmotivated due to the fact the initial end goal that they set themselves seems too far away, instead of saying “I want to lose 20lb’s” say to yourself “I want to lose 2lb’s a week for 10 weeks”

On our 6-week body transformation challenge, we set small goals over a set period of time and check in on our clients progress weekly to ensure they are on the right path to amazing results, just like we did for the other 2,000 plus people we have helped over the last 13 years.

Make It Fun

Find activities you enjoy, either by yourself, or with a workout partner for extra accountability and motivation.

We are incredibly proud of the support network and community that we have developed with our clients, we all know each other by name and we help to motivate one another, and hold each other accountable.

Finding a local, supportive group of like-minded people on a similar journey to yourself is priceless, and will help get you the long term results you are working towards.

Track your progress

We have helped so many people become noticeably fitter and have incredible improvements in their overall levels of fitness and stamina in just a few short weeks, this comes from the sessions that we have created over the past 13 years to ensure you get the best results possible, in the fastest amount of time.

We have found that writing down your progress and tracking it, will be a massive benefit in the long run.

You can write down how you found each session, how many of each exercise you did, and score out of 10 how you found it. Over time you will notice you can do more sets, more reps, and push that little bit harder to get even better results.
