3 Ways To Ensure You Smash Your 2023 Fitness Goals

Create a plan

Before you begin your 2023 fitness journey, make sure you ask yourself a few questions “when will I exercise, how will I exercise, and how much time I will spend exercising.

You want to ensure that you pick a time slot that works for you within your day, that can allow for consistent training at least 3 times per week.

The ideal form of exercise is one that you enjoy and want to do, this can be anything from a brisk walk, to playing some form of sport, or even group training sessions.

In the early stages, you can begin with as little as 10-15-minute sessions, and build these up over time as your fitness increases.

 

Be realistic with your goals

One of the most common problems with new year resolutions is that people can set goals that, at the start can be very daunting, make sure you set goals that are both realistic, and achievable.

For example, “I want to lose 12lb” in the next 12 weeks” this is very doable, and also very time specific.

A goal of “I want to run a marathon in the next 12 months” may not be as achievable.  The key is to have lots of small wins, that will eventually lead to bigger wins over time.

 

Take it easy

 Think of this as the first step of many, you are much more likely to be achieve great results if you start off light =, and increase it over time, if you go head first at the start, you run the risk of injury.

Do not compare yourself to what others do, go at your own pace, you will get the results you want with consistency over time.
