How To Stay Motivated In Your Fitness Journey

Staying motivated during your fitness journey is vital in order to not only get in shape, but to keep in shape for the long term.

In this blog I am going to discuss various ways to keep yourself motivated through your fitness journey, to ensure you get the best, long term, and sustainable results possible.

Set Yourself Goals

At Body Shape Fitness, we believe, in order to get yourself the best results possible, it is best practice to break down your ultimate end goals into much smaller, manageable goals.

By us doing this, it has allowed us to help  thousands of people lose upwards of 20lb’s during their time with us. We believe smaller goals along the way then becomes much more achievable and does not seem as daunting as saying from the outset “I want to lose 20lbs” from the outset

Doing this from the beginning can cause frustration and a lack of motivation, tackling goals week by week, allows you to progress more long term.

Workout In Ways That You Can Manage

Here at Body Shape Fitness, we offer 3 expertly delivered training sessions where we coach you at your level regardless of your starting point.

These sessions have been refined to ensure maximum results, with the commitment of 3x 45 minute sessions per week at various times and days, giving you much more time to tackle other jobs and tasks, while still getting the best results with us.

Try And Make it FUN

At Body Shape Fitness, you will meet so many other people with similar goals as yourself. Working towards these goals together really gives you that extra motivation and drive to get to where you want to be.

When people train together and have fun doing it, you become much more motivated to continue to push forwards. We make our sessions as enjoyable as possible, everyone works together and you will make real friends for life.

Treat Yourself

It is really important, when working hard to reward yourself for your efforts, maybe get yourself that pair of trainers you have wanted for ages when you reach a certain goal, this will only  add to your motivation and allow you to push that little bit harder.

The Biggest Motivator

The Biggest motivator in your fitness journey is going to be “remember why you started” when you are feeling unmotivated and the drive to get up and be active is low, remember why you started in the first place, and imagine how amazing you are going to feel once you reach your goal at the end.
